Not all trash belongs in the cart. Here’s a quick guide to help keep pickup smooth and our routes running on time.
The Basics
A few simple tips for trash day.

Please place your cart curbside by 7:00 AM on your service day.

Bagging your trash is recommended to keep things clean and easy to collect.

Keeping items properly contained helps our hogs provide fast, reliable pickup for everyone.

Liquids don’t belong in a cart.
Things our pig can not take.
Even a trash-loving swine has standards. The following items cannot be placed in your trash cart because they are restricted or prohibited in municipal landfills:

Asbestos (older ceiling tiles, insulation, floor tiles, etc.)
Large electronics
Refrigeration units
Fluorescent light bulbs or tubes
Hazardous waste
Rechargeable batteries
(car batteries, power tool batteries, cell phone batteries, etc.)Liquid waste
Medical waste
(sharps like syringes must be placed in a sharps container or sealed plastic bottle)Oils (motor oil, cooking oil, etc.)
Radioactive materials
Motor vehicle tires
If you're unsure about an item, give us a call before tossing it.
Bulk Item Pickup
Have a large item that won’t fit in the cart? No problem. We can schedule bulk item pickup for things like:
Furniture
Appliances
Grills
Other large household items
Just contact us to arrange pickup.
We take a few holidays off each year. When one of these falls on a weekday, service shifts one day later for the rest of the week. Friday routes will run on Saturday.
